After players show proficency with the scissor move, add in the scissor cannon move (option 2). Practice scissor cannon move with both feet in both directions.
Coaching Points:
Scissor move (Option 1):

- Drop shoulder to sell scissor
- Plant with foot going around the ball
- Take ball away with big outside touch to beat defender

- Instead of taking ball away with outside of opposite foot, hop with opposite foot and use the inside to continue the same way as the scissor move
Progressions:
P1: If group is showing good timing with the moves, remove the middle cone and have them time the moves to the other player instead. Focus on qaulity and quickness of move and end product.

Instructions:
The attacking player makes eye contact with his teammate and he makes a good angled run to receive the ball. The game is live on the attacker's first touch. The attacker tries to dribble through either blue gate on the opposite side for a point. The defender scores the same way after winning the ball back, but at the opposite end. Switch lines after going.
Coaching Points:
- Attacking with speed, slowing as approaching defender
- Using body and ball movement to unbalance defender
- Correct execution of moves (body feint, scissor, etc)
- Three E's of move
- Timing and taking risks to score
- Use of body after move is executed to protect ball
Progressions:
P1: Passing attacker can join play to create a 2v1 situation
P2: Add pugg net in the middle of the gates. Scoring in the Pugg net is worth 1 point everytime, regardless if moves were preformed or not, dribbling through the gates is still worth point.
P3: Move defenders to location (P) on figure. They can choose to either defend tightly or back closer to the pugg goal. Players can only defend in the half they choose.
